Terrarium Workshop

A DIG favorite, everyone has Terrarium Fever! This workshop will spark your creativity to design a one-of-a-kind inspiring  terrarium. Choose from DIG’s wide selection of plants and from our numerous styles of glass vessels to create your garden. In this workshop. Jen Dumford, DIG’s Garden Manager, will share her knowledge of growing and maintaining terrariums- introducing you to the whimsical yet practical world of gardens under glass. Fee includes instruction from Jen and potting supplies (soil, charcoal,moss). You are welcome to bring your own glass vessel from home, just make sure there is an opening large enough to put your hand through. The $20 workshop fee does not include the cost of vessel and plant materials.

Succulent Wreath or Orb Workshop

A succulent wreath is the perfect wreath for  the Summer and will look gorgeous hanging on your front door or wall. Our famous succulent orbs that have been featured in many magazines including Better Homes and Gardens and Sunset, can be hanging in your patio to show off this Summer!
Join us for this fun workshop where  you will learn how to make your very own 13 inch wreath or 6 inch orb and cover with many varieties of colorful, drought tolerant succulents.

The workshop includes design lesson, moss wreath form, pins and a large variety of succulents. Learn how to put one together and care for it successfully! $100 includes 2 hour workshop and all materials.

Succulent Bouquet Workshop

Just in time for Mother’s Day! Mixed with florals, succulents are a great addition to traditional bouquets and centerpieces for weddings or Summer parties. Succulents are readily available, eco- friendly and can be replanted in your garden once you are finished with the bouquet. They also come in so many colors and textures that can really make your bouquet POP!  Join us for this new workshop in teaching you how to design and create a beautiful succulent bouquet which you can bring home and enjoy! $50, includes instruction and all materials.

Vertical Succulent Picture Workshop

The latest trend in modern gardening is going vertical! Join the owner and garden designer, Cara Meyers for a workshop where you will create your very own stunning outdoor vertical garden. We will use the beautiful textures and colors of succulents in pre-fabricated redwood 20″x20″ wall hangings to create these “plant paintings”. A great way to add a touch of design and greenery to outdoor fences, walls and entryways. In this class you will choose from our selection of over 100 succulent cuttings to create a beautiful wall mounted design. Orchids 101: Repotting and Reblooming

If you’ve ever struggled to make an indoor orchid last or re-bloom, this workshop is for you! Join us for a hands-on demonstration workshop on how to care for and re-pot orchids. The Dig Gardens staff will show you how to successfully care for these amazing flowering plants. Participants may bring one, non-blooming orchid to the workshop for a hands on repotting demonstration.$20 per person. Cost includes instruction and potting materials. Rare orchids and pots will be available for purchase.
